Jerry Deschane, CAE Jerry, as the Executive Vice-President of the Wisconsin Builders Association (WBA), is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all Association programs and services, including those provided by WBA Insurance Services. Jerry supervises a team of professionals who provide insurance, education, political, informational, networking and lobbying services to WBA’s 7,000 members and 25 local associations throughout Wisconsin. He is the Chief Executive Officer of WBA Insurance Services. Jerry is a Wisconsin native who grew up in Crivitz, a small town 50 miles North of Green Bay. The son of a home builder, Jerry worked in radio broadcasting for several years before moving to Madison in 1986 to oversee the press operations of Tommy Thompson’s first campaign for Governor. After six years working for the Thompson Administration, Jerry joined the Wisconsin Builders Association in 1993. He was WBA’s chief lobbyist for 14 years. He left briefly to establish a contract lobbying firm before returning as WBA’s staff leader in September of 2009. |
